Un‘BEAR’able Heat 🐻🌡️🥵

We’re now a couple of days into a sweltering heat wave. Luckily, a certain resident Mousie has provided me with a constant stream of “ice water with ice” in her mission to make things more “BEARable.”

Here I am, languid, with my shirt fully unbuttoned. By the afternoon, the clothing came off completely.

Still, Caves do tend to stay cool relatively speaking, so it didn’t take long for Teddy Yeti and Boo Bear to come knocking at my door. Mousie welcomed them in with open paws, providing them with refreshing beverages and bedding for the night... which they promptly threw off in the heat.

“Yet hot... Yeti hot” rang out all night from the Yeti chambers. As a ‘Snow Mountain’ teddy with thick, fluffy fur, Teddy Yeti’s particularly vulnerable to the effects of summer heat.

Concerned for the wellbeing of his ‘Space Yeti’, i.e., Lego Chewbacca, Teddy Yeti placed him the refrigerator, atop a cool slice of watermelon. A furless Yoda also made it in there to keep the Space Yeti company... Yeti figured that Yoda could regulate his own body temperature via meditation.

So, it’s officially time to install air conditioning. Mousie encourages me to utilize sustainable energy sources to power it, especially considering what us teddies would require to survive the summer heat, so I’ll have to look into what options are available. In the meantime, this little clip sums things up pretty well.
