I LOVE FEMMEnist Punk!

Hello, EVERYone!

I love FEMMEnist punk! Do you love FEMMEnist punk? One of my FAVrit singers is Kathleen HAnna because she has a very strong and spesha voice. She is also a VERY creative song writer and has a big love heart taTOO on her arm! It is AWWsome! <3

One time, me and Bear saw Kathleen Hanna at a ‘The Julie Ruin’ consert. At the theater door, huMANS got a PAW stamp on their hand! I wanted to get a paw stamp, but Bear said stuffed critters already have paws, so we got free adMISHin to the show instead! Bear said the stamp was too big for mice paws anyhow, and the ink would PAWbably stain my plush fur.

In the theater, we sat on the shoulders of giants so we could see the stage. HuMANS are REALLY tall!!! It was an EXsellant consert, so Bear took lots of pictures.

Kathleen Hanna was wearing pretty boots that she bought at a VINtage clothing store nearby. I collect VINtage things, so I liked her boots very much! During the consert, she marched and hopped around EVERYWHERE on stage. I think her boots were MAgical because her steps had a LOT of PAOwer!! Her strong voice and energy made me want to wear punk clothes and hop and jump and march around, and sing fun songs for others to enjoy, too! When she sang the ‘REBEL GIRL’ song, EVERYone went CRAAAAZY!!!

The audience sang along and jumped up and down happily! It was sooo fun and brought JOY to our hearts! This loving time SPIRED me to start my OWN punk band. I asked Bear to be my drummer and he said yes because he is a mouse ALLy. But, I still need to write some songs.

Bear says Kathleen Hanna is a very PORTANT person in HISTory. He says this article is good to read during Woman’s HISTory Month because it is about the history of FEMMEnist punk and Kathleen Hanna’s music. Bear says the article also talks about a ’Huggy Bear’ band! I LOOOVE huggy bears, so I REALLY want to read it! But there are big words, so Bear will read the article to me at STOry time when we cuddle tonight in bed. I love Bear!! He is good.

Bear has a LARGE record colleckshin. He bought these ‘The Julie Ruin’ records for us to enjoy. One has a pink handCRAFTED stuffed critter on the front! We bought the second record with the house picture at the consert!
